The Good News: Why Kingdom Thread Exists

Kingdom Thread exists to make excellent apparel, serve people well, and use what God has entrusted to us for something much bigger than clothing. If you remember only one thing about us, we hope it is this: there is good news for you.

You were created by God

You are not an accident. God made you, knows you, and created you for a relationship with Him. He is holy, good, loving, and worthy of our worship.

Sin separates us from God

Every one of us has sinned. We have all chosen our own way instead of God's way, and no amount of success, religion, generosity, or good behavior can erase our guilt or make us righteous before a holy God.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. — Romans 3:23

Jesus did what we could never do

God did not leave us without hope. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world, lived the sinless life we could not live, and willingly died on the cross in the place of sinners. He bore the punishment our sin deserves.

Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. The resurrection is not an inspirational metaphor. It is the victory of Jesus over sin and death, and it is the foundation of the Christian hope.

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8

Salvation is a gift

We are not saved by becoming good enough. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Turn from sin and trust in Jesus—who He is, what He did on the cross, and that He rose again. He offers forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. — Ephesians 2:8

What should I do?

Come to Jesus honestly. Admit your sin to God. Turn from it. Put your trust in Christ rather than yourself. Ask Him for mercy and surrender your life to Him. A prayer does not save you—Jesus saves. But you can speak to Him right now.

You might pray something as simple as: Jesus, I know that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sin and put my trust in You. Forgive me, make me Yours, and lead my life. Amen.
